Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive security architectures across cloud/on-premise environments
- Lead threat modeling, penetration testing, and security assessments for complex systems
- Develop zero-trust frameworks and identity/access management solutions
- Coordinate incident response protocols and conduct forensic investigations
- Mentor junior security engineers and drive security awareness initiatives
- Stay ahead of emerging threats through continuous research and threat intelligence analysis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in cybersecurity with 5+ years in architecture design
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2)
- Proficiency in security automation tools (Splunk, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike)
- Experience with DevSecOps pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
- Strong background in network security and application hardening
- Excellent communication skills for executive stakeholder engagement
