Responsibilities
- Lead and execute reservoir simulation studies using industry-standard software (e.g., CMG, Eclipse, or tNavigator).
- Analyze production data and geological models to forecast reservoir performance and optimize field development plans.
- Collaborate closely with geoscientists and drilling engineers to integrate subsurface data and enhance recovery efficiency.
- Design and implement enhanced oil recovery (EOR) schemes to maximize hydrocarbon recovery from mature fields.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for stakeholders and management.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on complex reservoir engineering concepts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in reservoir engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong proficiency in reservoir simulation software, petrophysical data analysis, and PVT properties.
- Proven track record of successful reservoir modeling and production forecasting.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is highly preferred.
