Responsibilities
- Design and execute reservoir simulation models using industry-standard software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel)
- Optimize production strategies through enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques
- Lead multidisciplinary projects integrating geological, geophysical, and engineering data
- Develop well completion designs and hydraulic fracturing programs
- Analyze production data to identify reserves growth opportunities
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in upstream operations
- Advanced proficiency in reservoir simulation and production analysis tools
- Proven track record of optimizing field development plans
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification
- Deep understanding of Gulf Coast reservoir characteristics
