Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of large-scale civil infrastructure and urban development projects.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, surveyors, and environmental consultants.
- Prepare comprehensive engineering reports, technical specifications, and detailed project cost estimates.
- Manage project lifecycles from initial feasibility studies through to final construction administration.
- Provide mentorship and technical oversight to junior engineers and design staff.
- Ensure all project designs strictly adhere to state and local building codes and regulatory standards.
- Lead client presentations and represent the firm in public planning and zoning meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license valid in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in civil site design and infrastructure planning.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, and stormwater modeling software.
- Deep understanding of local environmental regulations and municipal permitting processes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables effectively.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead collaborative project teams.
