Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive reservoir simulation models to forecast field performance.
- Perform nodal analysis and pressure transient analysis (PTA) to optimize production rates.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in identifying new drilling opportunities and workover candidates.
- Manage reserve estimation processes in compliance with SEC and PRMS standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff on best-in-class engineering workflows.
- Evaluate acquisition opportunities through rigorous economic modeling and sensitivity analysis.
- Coordinate with drilling and completions teams to ensure seamless asset development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in upstream oil and gas reservoir engineering.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software: Petrel, ECLIPSE, CMG, or OFM.
- Strong background in unconventional resource development and hydraulic fracturing design.
- Demonstrated expertise in economic evaluation software (e.g., Aries or PHDWin).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical data to executive stakeholders.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred but not required.
