Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-fidelity reservoir models using Petrel, Eclipse, or CMG software to predict reservoir behavior.
  • Conduct detailed pressure transient analysis and production forecasting to optimize well placement and completion strategies.
  • Collaborate with drilling and completion engineers to design and implement Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) projects.
  • Lead feasibility studies and economic evaluations for field development options.
  • Analyze historical production data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for operational efficiency.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations for executive stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the asset team.

Qualifications

  • BS or MS degree in Petroleum Engineering or related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in upstream oil & gas operations, with a focus on reservoir engineering.
  • Proficient in reservoir simulation software (Petrel, Eclipse, CMG, or tNavigator).
  • Strong understanding of PVT properties, fluid flow, and rock mechanics.
  • P.E. License is highly preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Proven track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams in a high-pressure environment.
