Responsibilities
- Perform integrated reservoir studies to evaluate field development opportunities and optimize recovery factors.
- Conduct material balance, decline curve analysis, and pressure transient analysis (PTA) to refine well performance models.
- Develop and manage complex 3D reservoir simulation models (Eclipse/tNavigator) to support investment decisions.
- Collaborate with geologists and drilling engineers to execute multi-well development programs.
- Prepare comprehensive reserve reports in strict accordance with SEC/SPE guidelines.
- Mentor junior staff and provide technical peer reviews for internal engineering projects.
- Identify and mitigate subsurface risks through robust uncertainty quantification and risk analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 8-12 years of hands-on experience in reservoir engineering within the O&G sector.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software suites (Petrel, Eclipse, OFM, Kappa/Saphir).
- Deep understanding of unconventional shale plays and complex fluid properties.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale data sets and translate findings into executive-level strategy.
- Exceptional analytical thinking with a track record of driving operational efficiency.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead cross-functional project teams.
