Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models using industry-standard software (Eclipse, Nexus, Petrel)
- Analyze production data to identify optimization opportunities and forecast reserves with 90%+ accuracy
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing field development plans for unconventional assets
- Integrate machine learning algorithms for predictive analytics and real-time reservoir management
- Prepare technical reports and economic analyses for executive stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Mentor junior engineers and champion best practices in reservoir characterization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field; Master's preferred
- 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in unconventional plays (shale/tight)
- Expert proficiency in reservoir simulation software and production forecasting tools
- Strong background in well performance analysis and enhanced oil recovery techniques
- Proven track record of optimizing field economics and reserve growth
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience with digital oilfield technologies and data analytics platforms
