Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models to forecast production performance and recovery factors
- Analyze well data to identify optimization opportunities and recommend field development strategies
- Lead cross-functional teams in executing reservoir management plans and capital projects
- Develop economic models to evaluate investment opportunities and support decision-making
- Collaborate with geoscientists to integrate geological data into reservoir characterization
- Monitor reservoir performance using production surveillance and decline curve analysis
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of reservoir engineering experience in upstream oil & gas operations
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Petrel, Eclipse, CMG)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in production forecasting and economic evaluation
- Proven track record in leading field development projects and optimization initiatives
- Expertise in reservoir characterization, well testing, and enhanced oil recovery techniques
- Valid P.E. license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
