Apex Energy Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Reservoir Engineer to join our elite asset development team in Houston. In this high-impact role, you will lead complex reservoir characterization projects, optimize recovery strategies, and drive production efficiency for our flagship offshore and unconventional assets.

Responsibilities
- Perform rigorous reservoir simulation and performance forecasting for unconventional and conventional fields.
- Develop and execute comprehensive field development plans (FDPs) to optimize hydrocarbon recovery.
- Conduct detailed reserve estimations in compliance with SEC and PRMS standards.
- Lead well test analysis and pressure transient analysis (PTA) to refine reservoir models.
- Collaborate with the drilling and completions team to optimize hydraulic fracturing designs and well placement.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in reservoir management across the department.
- Present technical findings and investment recommendations to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in reservoir engineering within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Expert-level proficiency in industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, CMG, or Kappa.
- Proven track record of managing reserve reporting and production optimization projects.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex subsurface data sets.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly desirable.
