Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain complex full-field reservoir simulation models for multi-well development programs.
  • Conduct material balance analysis, decline curve analysis, and pressure transient analysis.
  • Provide technical support for field development planning, including well placement optimization and recovery enhancement strategies.
  • Collaborate with geophysicists to integrate seismic data into static and dynamic reservoir models.
  • Perform reserves estimation and audit reporting in compliance with SEC standards.
  • Mentor junior engineering staff and provide technical oversight for production forecasting.
  • Present data-driven insights to executive stakeholders to influence multi-million dollar capital investment decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in reservoir engineering within the oil and gas upstream sector.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software suites such as Eclipse, Petrel, CMG, or Kappa.
  • Proven track record in unconventional reservoir modeling and horizontal well performance analysis.
  • Strong understanding of economic evaluation and project risk assessment.

  • Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred but not required.
