Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex reservoir simulation models to forecast production performance.
- Conduct rigorous material balance analysis and pressure transient analysis (PTA) for field development.
- Collaborate with drilling and completions teams to design efficient well placement strategies.
- Perform uncertainty analysis and risk assessment for prospective drilling opportunities.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote technical best practices across the department.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and executive presentations for senior stakeholders.
- Monitor field production data and recommend optimization measures to enhance recovery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in reservoir engineering within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, CMG, or OFM.
- Strong understanding of economic evaluation and project valuation metrics.
- Demonstrated expertise in unconventional resource assessment.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and leadership communication skills.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly desirable.
