Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive reservoir simulation and modeling to predict production profiles.
- Develop field development plans (FDPs) and conduct economic evaluations for new projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate geological, petrophysical, and production data.
- Conduct reserves estimation and classification in compliance with SEC guidelines.
- Optimize well placement and stimulation designs to maximize recovery factors.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and geoscientists.
- Present complex technical findings to executive stakeholders for capital allocation decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in reservoir engineering within the upstream O&G sector.
- Expertise in industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, CMG, or OFM.
- Deep understanding of decline curve analysis, material balance, and pressure transient analysis.
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar capital project lifecycles.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex subsurface data sets.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills in a collaborative office environment.
