Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models for complex offshore fields
- Lead production optimization strategies using AI-driven analytics and real-time data integration
- Develop enhanced oil recovery (EOR) methodologies for mature reservoirs
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for field development planning and economic analysis
- Present technical findings to executive stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Mentor junior engineers on industry best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS/PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in offshore operations
- Expertise in reservoir simulation software (ECLIPSE, tNavigator)
- Proven track record in EOR project implementation
- Strong knowledge of well design and production optimization techniques
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience with Gulf of Mexico regulatory compliance (BOEM, BSEE)
