You will play a pivotal role in field development planning and portfolio optimization, working alongside a world-class team of geologists and drilling engineers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust reservoir simulation models to predict field performance.
- Conduct detailed pressure transient analysis and material balance calculations.
- Lead field development planning (FDP) initiatives to optimize recovery factor.
- Collaborate with the drilling team to design and optimize well completion strategies.
- Perform uncertainty and sensitivity analysis to mitigate subsurface risks.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and presentations for senior executive stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineering staff on best practices for reservoir management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in upstream oil and gas reservoir engineering.
- Expertise in industry-standard software such as Eclipse, Petrel, or CMG.
- Proven track record in unconventional or deepwater asset management.
- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in economic modeling and risk assessment.
- Exceptional communication skills for cross-functional project management.
- Current authorization to work in the United States.
