Responsibilities
- Lead reservoir characterization and simulation modeling using industry-standard software (CMG, Eclipse, or similar).
- Perform reservoir engineering studies to maximize hydrocarbon recovery and optimize production strategies.
- Analyze well test data and production trends to forecast reserves and identify development opportunities.
- Collaborate with geoscientists, drilling engineers, and production teams to ensure integrated field development plans.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and regulatory documentation for stakeholders and management.
- Conduct economic evaluations and reservoir performance analysis to justify capital expenditures (CapEx).
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineering staff, fostering technical growth.
Qualifications
- B.S. or M.S. in Petroleum Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in reservoir engineering within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (CMG, Eclipse, Petrel) and spreadsheet modeling (Excel).
- Strong understanding of reservoir fluid dynamics, phase behavior, and rock mechanics.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical data to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
