Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of reservoir simulation models to forecast production and optimize recovery factors.
- Analyze geological and engineering data to identify reservoir opportunities and constraints.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (geoscientists, drilling, production) to ensure integrated field development strategies.
- Conduct economic evaluations and reservoir performance analysis to support investment decisions.
- Supervise junior engineers and review technical deliverables for quality and accuracy.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Petroleum Engineering or related field (M.S. preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- 10+ years of experience in reservoir engineering within the oil and gas industry.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, or CMG.
- Strong understanding of reservoir mechanics and fluid dynamics.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
