Responsibilities
- Design and implement reservoir simulation models using industry-standard software (Eclipse, CMG)
- Lead field development planning for unconventional assets (shale gas, tight oil)
- Analyze production data to identify optimization opportunities and reserves estimation
- Collaborate with geoscience teams to integrate seismic interpretation and geological modeling
- Prepare technical reports for regulatory compliance and investor presentations
- Mentor junior engineers through hands-on project guidance and knowledge sharing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in upstream operations
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Eclipse, CMG, PETEX)
- Expertise in production data analysis and reserves reporting (SEC standards)
- Strong background in unconventional resource development (shale/tight)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional field development projects
