Responsibilities
- Design and implement reservoir simulation models to forecast production performance
- Analyze well data to identify optimization opportunities and recovery enhancement techniques
- Collaborate with geoscientists and drilling engineers on field development plans
- Prepare technical reports and economic evaluations for new reservoir opportunities
- Mentor junior engineers and lead cross-functional project teams
- Stay current with industry innovations in EOR methods and digital reservoir technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of reservoir engineering experience in upstream oil & gas
- Expert proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Nexus)
- Strong analytical skills with proven production optimization track record
- Valid P.E. license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Experience with unconventional reservoirs (shale, tight formations)
- Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder presentations
