In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the lifecycle of our reservoirs, utilizing advanced simulation techniques to maximize hydrocarbon recovery and ensure operational efficiency. You will work closely with geoscientists, drilling engineers, and project managers to deliver high-impact field development plans.

Responsibilities
- Reservoir Modeling: Develop and refine complex reservoir simulation models using industry-standard software (e.g., ECLIPSE, CMG) to predict fluid flow and optimize production strategies.
- Data Analysis: Analyze historical production data and well logs to identify trends, diagnose issues, and propose remedial actions to enhance recovery factors.
- Field Development: Lead the planning and execution of field development projects, including well placement, stimulation design, and facility integration.
- Collaboration: Partner with multidisciplinary teams to integrate geological models with engineering constraints, ensuring holistic project planning.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and forecasts for senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and analysts, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in reservoir engineering within the oil and gas industry.
- Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge of reservoir simulation software (ECLIPSE, CMG, or similar) and Petrel.
- Certification: Professional Engineer (PE) license is strongly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, rock physics, and reservoir characterization.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong problem-solving abilities.
