Responsibilities
- Lead and manage reservoir simulation studies using industry-standard software (e.g., Petrel, Eclipse).
- Design and implement enhanced oil recovery (EOR) processes to maximize hydrocarbon recovery.
- Analyze well performance data and reservoir characteristics to optimize production forecasts.
- Collaborate with geoscientists, drilling engineers, and production teams to integrate data and develop comprehensive field development plans.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Conduct risk assessments and evaluate reservoir behavior under various operational scenarios.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in reservoir engineering within the oil and gas industry.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Extensive experience with reservoir simulation software (Schlumberger Petrel, CMG, or similar).
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Python, MATLAB, or Excel).
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing multi-disciplinary projects.
