Responsibilities
- Lead reservoir simulation studies to predict performance and optimize recovery factors.
- Analyze well test data and pressure transient analysis (PTA) to refine reservoir models.
- Collaborate with drilling and completion teams to design high-impact well trajectories.
- Conduct thorough economic evaluations and reserves estimation in compliance with SEC standards.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Present detailed development plans to executive leadership for project approval.
- Implement advanced EOR techniques to enhance mature field performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related discipline (Master’s/PhD preferred).
- Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience in reservoir engineering within the O&G sector.
- Proven proficiency in simulation tools such as Eclipse, tNavigator, or CMG.
- Expertise in integrated production modeling and nodal analysis.
- Strong understanding of petrophysics and its integration into static and dynamic models.
- Exceptional analytical, project management, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly desirable.
