Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize reservoir simulation models using industry-standard software (e.g., Eclipse, CMG, or Petrel).
- Analyze historical and current production data to forecast reservoir behavior and identify opportunities for Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR).
- Collaborate closely with geoscientists and drilling engineers to integrate subsurface data into field development plans.
- Lead technical reviews and provide expert advice on well stimulation and completion strategies.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for stakeholders and executive management.
- Mentor junior engineers and interns, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- B.S. or M.S. in Petroleum Engineering or related field (Ph.D. preferred).
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in upstream oil & gas operations.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Eclipse, CMG, or Petrel) and data analysis tools.
- Proven track record of managing complex field development projects and cost estimation.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
