Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive reservoir simulation models to forecast production performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional asset teams to optimize well placement and completion designs.
- Perform rigorous reserve estimation and economic analysis in compliance with SEC standards.
- Lead waterflood and EOR surveillance programs to maximize recovery factors.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and geoscientists.
- Coordinate with drilling and production departments to align operational activities with reservoir objectives.
- Prepare and present detailed technical reports for senior leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in reservoir engineering within the O&G industry.
- Expertise in industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, CMG, or OFM.
- Strong background in decline curve analysis, material balance, and pressure transient analysis.
- Proven track record in project management and field development planning.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into business strategy.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly preferred.
