Responsibilities
- Perform rigorous reservoir simulation, material balance, and decline curve analysis.
- Develop and execute comprehensive field development plans to optimize recovery factors.
- Provide technical leadership for well surveillance, testing, and production optimization initiatives.
- Collaborate with drilling and completion teams to design cost-effective well interventions.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and foster a culture of technical rigor and continuous improvement.
- Prepare high-level reports and technical presentations for executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory safety, environmental, and reservoir management standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in reservoir engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Deep expertise in industry-standard software (e.g., Petrel RE, Eclipse, tNavigator, or OFM).
- Proven track record in unconventional or offshore asset management.
- Strong background in economic evaluation and project risk assessment.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Effective communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional technical teams.
