Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive reservoir characterization and numerical simulation studies to optimize production forecasts.
- Develop and implement advanced reservoir management strategies to enhance recovery factors and extend asset life.
- Lead well testing programs and perform detailed analysis of pressure transient data.
- Prepare high-level technical reports, models, and presentations for executive stakeholders and investors.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with drilling, completions, and production teams to resolve complex engineering challenges.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and safety.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in upstream oil and gas reservoir engineering.
- Expert proficiency in industry-standard software (Eclipse, CMG, Petrel, or similar).
- Strong understanding of PVT analysis, fluid dynamics, and geological modeling.
- Valid Professional Engineering (P.E.) license is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale field development projects.
