Responsibilities
- Perform detailed reservoir simulation and performance forecasting for unconventional and conventional assets.
- Conduct integrated reservoir studies to identify optimization opportunities and mitigate production decline.
- Collaborate with cross-functional drilling and completion teams to design and execute successful well programs.
- Manage uncertainty and risk assessment through probabilistic modeling and sensitivity analysis.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and ensure adherence to best-in-class workflows.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and presentations for executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze real-time reservoir data to optimize daily operations and asset lifecycle strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 8-12 years of professional experience in reservoir engineering within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, Intersect, or CMG.
- Proven track record in successful field development planning and asset management.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets and develop actionable strategies.
- Expertise in material balance, decline curve analysis, and nodal analysis.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with experience working in multi-disciplinary teams.
