We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Reservoir Engineer to drive production optimization and asset development strategies in our Permian Basin portfolio. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive reservoir simulation and performance forecasting for unconventional assets.
- Develop and execute integrated field development plans to maximize recovery factors.
- Perform nodal analysis and pressure transient analysis (PTA) to optimize well performance.
- Collaborate with geologists and petrophysicists to build and update static/dynamic models.
- Provide economic valuations and reserve assessments in compliance with SEC/SPE guidelines.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Prepare and present quarterly asset reviews to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in reservoir engineering within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Petrel, Eclipse, CMG, or OFM.
- Deep understanding of decline curve analysis and material balance methods.
- Proven track record of project management in high-pressure drilling environments.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex subsurface data sets.
- Excellent communication skills with experience presenting technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
