Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust reservoir simulation models to predict field performance.
- Conduct detailed pressure transient analysis and material balance calculations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design optimal well completion and stimulation strategies.
- Evaluate asset acquisition opportunities through rigorous technical due diligence and risk assessment.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of technical excellence and safety.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and present findings to executive leadership.
- Monitor production trends and implement surveillance programs to mitigate decline rates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in reservoir engineering within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Expert-level proficiency in industry-standard software such as Eclipse, Petrel, or CMG.
- Strong understanding of economic evaluation methods and fiscal regimes.
- Proven track record of managing complex field development projects.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
