Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex molecular biology experiments in oncology and immunology research
- Develop novel assay platforms for target validation and compound screening
- Collaborate with computational biologists to integrate multi-omics data
- Mentor junior scientists and optimize laboratory protocols
- Present findings at scientific conferences and peer-reviewed publications
- Contribute to intellectual property strategy and patent filings
- Interface with CROs and academic partners for external research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in CRISPR/Cas9, next-gen sequencing, and primary cell culture
- Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications and patent applications
- Strong leadership experience managing cross-functional research teams
- Proficiency in bioinformatics tools (Python, R, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with GLP/GMP compliance and regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated ability to translate basic research into therapeutic applications
