Responsibilities
- Design and execute complex molecular biology experiments in CRISPR and synthetic biology
- Lead cross-functional research teams and mentor junior scientists
- Develop novel assay platforms for therapeutic efficacy screening
- Analyze multi-omics data using Python/R and bioinformatics tools
- Author patents and publish high-impact research
- Optimize lab protocols to accelerate discovery timelines
- Collaborate with external partners for technology scouting
Qualifications
- PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field
- 5+ years of industry R&D experience in biotech
- Expertise in CRISPR-Cas9 systems and genome editing
- Proficiency in next-gen sequencing and single-cell analysis
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals
- Experience managing lab budgets and resources
