Responsibilities
- Lead R&D Initiatives: Spearhead the design and implementation of novel deep learning architectures and robotic control systems.
- Publication & Patenting: Author high-impact research papers for top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR) and secure intellectual property for the organization.
- Prototype Development: Translate theoretical research into working prototypes and integrate them into our advanced hardware platforms.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior researchers and PhD students, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product engineering teams to bridge the gap between theoretical research and practical application.
- Technical Strategy: Contribute to the long-term technical roadmap, identifying emerging trends and technologies that align with business goals.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related quantitative field from a top-tier university.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of post-doctoral or industry experience in AI/ML or Robotics research.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and experience with large-scale distributed computing systems (e.g., AWS, GCP).
- Research Track Record: A demonstrated history of publishing in prestigious conferences or journals with significant citations.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, or Reinforcement Learning.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
