Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of novel gene-editing experiments using CRISPR-Cas9 technologies
- Develop and optimize high-throughput screening protocols for therapeutic applications
- Analyze complex genomic datasets using Python/R and machine learning frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including bioinformatics, chemistry, and regulatory affairs
- Present research findings at international conferences and peer-reviewed publications
- Mentor junior scientists and drive innovation in laboratory methodologies
- Secure external funding through grant applications and partnership development
Qualifications
- PhD in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Bioengineering, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in CRISPR/Cas9 systems, next-gen sequencing, and cell culture techniques
- Proven track record of high-impact publications in Nature/Science/Cell journals
- Advanced proficiency in Python/R for genomic data analysis and visualization
- Demonstrated success in translating research into patentable innovations
- Experience leading cross-functional R&D projects with commercialization goals
