Responsibilities
- Design and execute advanced research protocols in quantum mechanics and nanotechnology
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects translating theoretical models into tangible prototypes

- Secure and manage federal grants (NSF, DARPA) and industry partnerships
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and publish 2+ peer-reviewed studies annually
- Present findings at international conferences and drive patent development

Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Materials Science, or Quantum Computing with 5+ years industry R&D
- Published record in Nature/Science or equivalent high-impact journals
- Expertise in quantum simulation tools (Qiskit, Cirq) and materials characterization
- Proven track record of securing >$1M in research funding
- Strong background in cryogenic systems and nanofabrication
- Demonstrated leadership in multidisciplinary R&D teams
- Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, and computational modeling frameworks
- Experience with technology transfer from lab to production
