Responsibilities
- Design and execute innovative neuroscience research projects spanning neural decoding, neurostimulation, and AI-driven analysis
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, biologists, and data scientists to translate research into scalable prototypes
- Develop novel methodologies for non-invasive neural signal acquisition and processing
- Secure and manage external research grants and intellectual property portfolios
- Mentor junior researchers and publish findings in high-impact journals
- Collaborate with clinical partners to validate therapeutic applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of industry R&D experience
- Expertise in electrophysiology, neuroimaging, or machine learning for biological data
- Proven track record of leading projects resulting in patents or peer-reviewed publications
- Proficiency with Python/R, MATLAB, and neuroinformatics tools (EEGLAB, FieldTrip)
- Strong background in experimental design and statistical analysis for complex biological systems
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding (NIH, NSF, or industry grants)
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
