Responsibilities
- Design and execute novel experimental protocols in molecular biology and biochemistry
- Lead cross-functional projects translating research discoveries into viable therapeutic candidates
- Develop and optimize proprietary lab techniques and analytical methodologies
- Collaborate with intellectual property team to draft patent applications
- Mentor junior scientists and contribute to lab safety protocols
- Present findings at industry conferences and peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in developing novel therapeutics or diagnostic platforms
- Expertise in CRISPR gene editing, protein engineering, or high-throughput screening
- Strong statistical analysis and experimental design skills
- Published research in leading scientific journals
- Experience with GLP/GMP laboratory environments
