Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end R&D projects from conceptualization to prototype validation
- Design and execute experimental procedures using advanced analytical techniques
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research findings into commercial applications
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new materials and technologies
- Secure intellectual property through patent filings and technical documentation
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of continuous innovation
- Present findings at industry conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Proven expertise in nanomaterial synthesis and characterization techniques
- Strong background in experimental design and statistical analysis
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and R&D quality management systems
- Demonstrated success in technology transfer from lab to production
- Experience securing research grants and managing project budgets
- Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks) and simulation tools (COMSOL)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
