Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and record patient vitals and status in real-time.
- Administer complex medications and manage intravenous lines and ventilators.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, respiratory therapists, and social workers.
- Interpret complex diagnostic tests and imaging to adjust treatment plans.
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during high-stress medical crises.
- Maintain precise medical records in compliance with HIPAA and facility standards.
- Mentor junior nursing staff and nursing students during clinical rotations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an ICU or Critical Care setting.
- BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certifications are highly preferred.
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Strong technical proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
