Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Operate and monitor life-support systems and advanced medical equipment.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families during critical periods.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards.
- Document patient progress and clinical outcomes in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an ICU, CCU, or high-acuity setting.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to remain calm under high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems, such as Epic or Cerner.
