Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and record the conditions of critically ill patients in real-time.
- Administer complex medications and monitor life-support equipment with precision.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute personalized care plans.
- Advocate for patients and families during high-stress medical situations.
- Perform advanced cardiac life support and emergency interventions when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR) according to hospital standards.
- Mentor junior nursing staff and assist in clinical onboarding processes.
Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an ICU or high-acuity critical care setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certifications.
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure emergency scenarios.
- Strong proficiency in modern EMR systems, such as Epic or Cerner.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and patient advocacy skills.
