Responsibilities
- Deliver high-acuity nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Monitor patient vitals, interpret data, and adjust treatment plans in real-time.
- Collaborate effectively with intensivists, respiratory therapists, and surgeons.
- Administer complex medications and manage advanced life-support equipment.
- Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients and their families.
- Mentor junior nursing staff and assist in clinical orientation processes.
- Maintain precise electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with HIPAA standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an ICU or Critical Care setting.
- BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certification highly preferred.
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities under high-stress conditions.
- Demonstrated ability to function as a leader within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong technical proficiency with medical monitoring hardware and software.
