Responsibilities
- Provide high-acuity nursing care to patients in a 24/7 Intensive Care Unit setting.
- Monitor patient vital signs, adjust treatment plans, and manage complex medical equipment.
- Collaborate with attending physicians and specialists to deliver integrated patient care.
- Administer advanced medication protocols and life-saving interventions with precision.
- Maintain rigorous documentation standards compliant with HIPAA and hospital policies.
- Serve as a mentor to junior nursing staff and nursing students.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and safety audits.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an ICU or critical care environment.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certifications preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and crisis-management skills.
- Proven ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure medical emergencies.
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems like Epic or Cerner.
