Responsibilities
- Deliver expert nursing care to critically ill patients in a high-acuity ICU setting.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams to develop and execute complex patient care plans.
- Utilize advanced life support equipment and monitor patient vitals with precision.
- Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients and their families during high-stress situations.
- Mentor junior nursing staff and nursing students to elevate the standard of care across the unit.
- Maintain impeccable electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with hospital protocols.
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an ICU or Critical Care unit.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
- CCRN certification is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure clinical environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to evidence-based nursing practice.
