Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and adjust specialized medical equipment in real-time.
- Administer complex medication protocols with absolute precision.
- Collaborate with attending physicians and specialists to develop individualized care plans.
- Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients and their families during critical periods.
- Mentor junior nursing staff and nursing students in clinical best practices.
- Maintain rigorous adherence to infection control and safety standards.
- Accurately document all clinical observations and patient responses in the EMR.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an ICU or high-acuity setting.
- BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certifications (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Proven ability to thrive in a high-paced, tech-enabled clinical environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient advocacy.
