Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team.
- Manage complex life-support equipment, including ventilators and infusion pumps.
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families during critical situations.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital protocols, safety standards, and HIPAA regulations.
- Mentor junior nursing staff and assist in clinical skill development.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an ICU or high-acuity setting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certifications.
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm and decisive under high-pressure environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
