Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team.
- Operate and manage complex life-support equipment and monitoring systems.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families during critical times.
- Maintain sterile environments and follow strict infection control protocols.
- Document all patient care activities in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted Massachusetts State Nursing License.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an ICU or high-acuity setting.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (CCRN certification is highly preferred).
- Strong clinical judgment and the ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in EHR systems and modern medical instrumentation.
