Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality direct patient care to critically ill patients in a high-acuity ICU setting.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary medical team to develop and implement complex care plans.
- Monitor and manage life-support equipment, ventilators, and advanced hemodynamics.
- Administer medication, manage IV lines, and perform complex wound care with high precision.
- Document patient progress accurately and maintain strict adherence to healthcare regulations and hospital protocols.
- Serve as a mentor to junior nursing staff and nursing students.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement and safety initiatives.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an ICU or Critical Care setting.
- BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certifications (CCRN preferred).
- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to thrive in high-stress environments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
