Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and document the condition of critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Administer complex medications and monitor life-support equipment with precision.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans.
- Serve as a clinical mentor to junior nursing staff and nursing students.
- Advocate for patients and families during high-stress medical situations.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, patient safety goals, and regulatory standards.
- Analyze diagnostic data to adjust patient treatment protocols in real-time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a hospital-based ICU or CCU setting.
- BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certifications required.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, specifically Epic.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
