Responsibilities
- Manage complex care for critically ill patients in a high-acuity ICU setting.
- Administer advanced life support, medication, and therapeutic treatments per physician orders.
- Monitor and interpret real-time physiological data using sophisticated telemetry systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and execute comprehensive care plans.
- Serve as a primary advocate for patients and families during high-stress medical situations.
- Mentor nursing students and junior staff to promote clinical excellence.
- Maintain precise electronic health records in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU or critical care unit.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certification (or eligibility to obtain within 6 months).
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient advocacy.
- Proficiency in modern electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic.
