Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for critically ill patients in a high-acuity ICU setting.
- Monitor patient vital signs and complex medical equipment, reporting critical changes to the medical team immediately.
- Administer advanced medications and therapeutic treatments as prescribed by attending physicians.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary care teams to develop and execute comprehensive patient recovery plans.
- Serve as a mentor and clinical resource for junior nursing staff and nursing students.
- Maintain precise and compliant electronic health records (EHR) to ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in emergency response protocols and code blue interventions with efficiency and poise.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution required; MSN preferred.
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an ICU or high-acuity critical care unit.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and CCRN certifications.
- Demonstrated expertise in hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management.
- Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to perform under high-pressure scenarios.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care.
